Ombudsman Institution Education Report (Parent Survey)
Following the observation that a significant portion of applications to the Ombudsman Institution, which is affiliated with the Turkish Grand National Assembly, concern education and training issues, and that applications regarding private schools have increased recently, the Institution has decided to prepare a special report on the problems of education in Turkey.
To generate data for this report, the Ombudsman Institution has initiated a survey among parents to determine the extent to which equal opportunities are provided in education processes in Turkey and to identify parents` experiences and observations regarding the education system.
Participation of all parents in this survey is of great importance for accurately identifying problem areas in the education system and developing solutions.
In this context, the participation of our student parents, our university staff who are also parents, our students who are themselves parents, and all stakeholders who have a direct or indirect relationship with the education process is extremely valuable in terms of the comprehensiveness and representativeness of the report to be prepared.
