Dear Students,Welcome to Çankırı Karatekin University. The Joint Courses Coordinator administers exemption exams once at the beginning of each academic year
for the compulsory courses ATA-101/102 Atatürk`s Principles and History of Turkish Revolution I/II, TBT-191/192 Basic Information Technologies, TDİ-101/102
Turkish Language I/II, YDİ-101/102 English I/II, and YDA-101/102 German I/II, which are included in the curriculum of the department or program you are enrolled
in during the first year of the fall and spring semesters (first and second semesters).The exemption exam for the joint compulsory courses for the 2025-2026
academic year will be administered face-to-face on Monday, September 8, 2025, at 3:00 PM in the classrooms of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences on
the Uluyazı Campus.

is the first 4 digits of your Student ID number + the last 4 digits of your Student ID number. For example: If your TR ID is 12345678901 - your Student ID is 240102001,
your password is 12342001.Applications for the Common Compulsory Course Exemption Exam must be submitted by the end of business hours on Friday, September 5, 2025,
at https://ekampus.karatekin.edu.tr, under the Exam Request Procedures - Exemption Application tab. Separate applications are required for each exam.Students taking
the course for the first time (including new enrollees, those who have passed the preparatory phase, and those who have suspended their registration from the previous
semester) are eligible to take the exemption exam.
Students wishing to take the exemption exam must be present in the designated exam hall on the exam day and time. Students arriving after 15 minutes of the exam start
or leaving the exam hall for any reason during the exam will not be admitted.The exam consists of 20 questions for each subject, and the designated exam duration for
each subject is 20 minutes.Students who achieve a minimum grade of sixty (60) out of one hundred (100) on the exemption exam, based on the absolute evaluation method,
are considered successful in that course. Students who score below 60 on the exemption exam must take the relevant courses.Students who will be studying in the Foreign
Language Preparatory Class in the relevant academic year, as well as students who registered for the course in previous years but failed due to grades or absences, or
who wish to take it to improve their grades, are not eligible to take the exemption exam.Students may take the exemption exam for the foreign language course they
selected during their course registration (YDİ-101/102 English I/II or YDA-101/102 German I/II). Even if he/she takes the exemption exam for another foreign language
course, he/she will not be taken into consideration.
The exemption exam for the TBT-191/192 Basic Information Technology Use course is available only to students in departments/programs whose courses are mandatory in
the department/program curriculum. Students in departments/programs with elective curriculum status will not be evaluated, even if they have taken the exam.Identity
checks will be conducted before the exam. You must have your ID (such as an ID card, student ID card, passport) and university registration document with you (students
registering online can obtain this document through e-government, while students registering in-person can obtain this document from the Student Affairs Office).The use
of ballpoint pens is prohibited during the exam. Coding on the optical form must be done with a pencil.Students with incomplete or incorrect coding on the optical form
will not be evaluated.
NOTE 1: Taking exemption exams is not mandatory.NOTE 2: Only students who successfully complete exams [those who receive a score of 60 (C3) or higher] will have their
grades recorded in the system, and the student will be exempt from the relevant course(s). No grades will be entered into the system for students who take the exam but
do not receive the required score. As stated above, the student will take the relevant course(s).
